I am shooting for a minimalist feel, and I thought that treating it like a desktop would be easy for users to understand. One of the considerations for a Photo ordering system is that the degree of technical sophistication of the users will vary wildly. My goal is to make it as obvious as possible.

I should have a working version very soon. Almost all of the logic can be reused from the existing version, so I will ‘just’ need to plug in the new interface.

I’m playing with some ideas for how the Wall Designer should work. I think that a 3d ‘virtual’ view will be a nice touch. It will put the wall into a realistic context and give a better sense of scale. With Papervision3d and some nicely textured pre-lit 3d scenes it would be very cool.
